As i'm still using Windows 98 SE and Outlook Express 6.0 i read that an antispam tool would be recommended.
Somewere Pretty Good Privacy was suggested. Unfortunately on the homepage is only version 9.0 available (as a trial version) which is designed for W2K and XP.
Might somebody send me a link or even mail the freeware version from PGP 8.1 or give any other freeware tipps?

Convert to thunderbird. It's much safer than OE. Built-in junk mail filter.

According to MicroPlanet's home page http://mpgravity.sourceforge.net/ "Gravity is a full featured Windows Usenet online/offline news client with an extensive feature list. Gravity has been a popular news reader since 1996."
The OP is looking for an Anti-Spam program (see below for original message). Your suggestion is inappropriate because MicroPlanet Gravity doesn't do email or detect spam. But thanks anyway for the anti-Mozilla comment.
This message posted with Thunderbird.

GPGshell is a graphical interface for GnuPG (GNU Privacy Guard). It requires an already working installation of GnuPG v1.4.2.2 or later (because it does not have any cryptographic code itself) and some basic knowledge about the GnuPG command-lines and functions.

I second Eric on this -- GPG is great and works perfectly with all my PGP keys. Also I use it on Linux and Windows, and I'm always up for anything crossplatform :)
